Sliding Fee Scale We want to help as many children, youth, and families as we can. If cost is a concern for you, we are able to provide our services on a sliding fee scale. Fees on the sliding scale are determined by household income and individual circumstances. Please ask for more details about this when you book your session.
MSP & Extended Health Benefits Counselling services are not covered under the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP). However, many extended health benefit plans can cover the fees up to a certain limit. Please check with your extended health insurance company the following two things:
Do they provide coverage for counselling services given by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC)?
How much coverage does the plan include per calendar year?
Payment Method For in-person services, payment is made either before or after each counselling session, unless other arrangements have been made. For your convenience, payment can be made through cash, cheque, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). An official receipt will be provided when payment is received.
For virtual sessions, payment will need to be made at least 24-hours before the scheduled appointment in order to secure the booking, otherwise the session will be cancelled.
Cancellation Policy and Fees
A minimum 24-hours of advance notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours before the appointment, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
No shows without prior notice will be charged the full cost of the scheduled session.
Please notify your therapist ahead of time if you have to cancel or reschedule through phone, voice message, or text.
